We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) and applicable national data protection law. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by [hosting provider, e.g. GitHub Pages / your web host]. Each time this website is accessed, the hosting provider's servers automatically record technical information ("server log files"), such as browser type and version, operating system, referring page, date and time of access, and the IP address used to make the request. This data is processed to ensure stable and secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in system security and stability) and is not merged with other data sources.
4. Contact form
If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, company, message, and any other details you choose to provide) is transmitted to Formspree, Inc., a third-party form-processing service, which forwards it to us by email so that we can respond to your enquiry. No copy of your submission is stored in a database on this website.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and, where no contract results, on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Formspree may process data on servers located in the United States; where this involves a transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA, it is carried out on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. See Formspree's own privacy policy for details on their processing.
Data submitted via the contact form is retained only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any follow-up correspondence, after which it is deleted unless we are subject to statutory retention obligations.
5. Local storage / cookies
This website uses browser local storage rather than traditional tracking cookies. See the separate Cookie Policy for a full breakdown of what is stored, for how long, and how to manage your preferences. In summary:
- Necessary: a record of your cookie preference itself, so we don't ask again on every visit (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Functional (only with your consent): your light/dark mode preference (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent).
- Analytics: not currently in use on this website.
6. No profiling or automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

- withdraw consent at any time, with future effect, where processing is based on consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
